TCM for men

Functioning is not the same as being healthy

Men - especially in demanding jobs in Winterthur and Zurich - are masters at ignoring warning signs. Does your back pinch? Never mind. Sleeping badly? One more coffee. Libido weakening? Stress.

But at some point, the body takes its toll. At Fly-TCM, I offer men a space to reboot the "system". Together we develop techniques and clear strategies for more energy ("yang"), potency and freedom from pain.

The "Yang" principle: the engine must run

In Chinese medicine, men are strongly characterized by the yang principle (activity, warmth, strength). The root of this power lies in the kidneys ("kidney essence"). When we drain this battery through stress, overwork or age, typical male symptoms appear:

  • The performance curve dips (tiredness in the afternoon).
  • The lower back becomes weak or cold.
  • Sexual function declines (erectile dysfunction, loss of libido).

My aim is to rekindle this fire and release stagnation (e.g. in the prostate). We pave the way for health in old age at a young age through habits and resilience to resist the temptations of consumption.

Areas of application: Where TCM makes men strong

I treat functional disorders and accompany conventional medical therapies. My specialties for men are

1. prostate health & prevention

For benign enlargement (BPH), frequent urge to urinate at night or inflammation (prostatitis). Acupuncture can help to relax the muscles in the pelvis and improve the flow of urine.

2. potency & libido (erectile dysfunction)

Not a taboo for me. Stress and circulatory disorders are often the cause. I strengthen your kidney yang and release blockages in the liver meridian (which is responsible for stress reduction and genital circulation).

3. "Manager syndrome" & burnout

High blood pressure, tinnitus, irritability and sleep disorders are classic signs of "too much heat at the top, too little strength at the bottom". I ground the system and prevent the development of later illnesses at an early stage.

4. back pain (lumbar spine)

The lower back is the "palace of the kidneys". Chronic pain here is often a sign of exhaustion, not just from sitting incorrectly. I treat both: the structure (fascia) and the energy.

Who is the offer for?

For men who value pragmatism. I don't beat around the bush. I look for solutions for:

  • Performers and pilots: Who need to maintain their "fitness for duty".
  • Health-conscious men: They feel that regeneration takes longer than before.
  • Athletes: Who want to recover from injuries more quickly.

Safety & urologist check

Important: I am not a substitute for a urologist. In the event of acute testicular pain, blood in the urine or lumps, the first step is to see a specialist. I am the expert for functional support and prevention afterwards.

Discretion & procedure in Winterthur

Men's issues need trust. My practice is a discreet place. No one in the waiting room knows why you are there. The treatment is relaxed and painless.

The costs (tariff 590) are covered by the supplementary insurance for complementary medicine (EMR). An investment in your virility.

Frequently asked questions

You don’t have to do anything, but it helps. For me, erectile dysfunction or the urge to urinate are physiological conditions, not character defects. The more openly you describe what is not working, the more precisely I can design the treatment. Everything stays 100% in the treatment room.

Usually not. The most important points for potency and prostate are not on the genitals themselves, but on the lower abdomen, lower back and lower legs/feet. So you can almost always keep your underwear on.

TCM works differently. Viagra forces blood circulation for the moment (symptom treatment). TCM works on the cause: Why is the circulation or energy blocked there? (e.g. due to stress or exhaustion). The aim is natural, lasting function without dependence on pills. They often complement each other well.

Yes, that is an ideal approach. In TCM, enlargement is often caused by “stagnation of dampness and blood” in the pelvis (due to too much sitting, cold, stress). I use acupuncture and exercise tips to maintain the flow in the pelvis, which reduces the risk of complaints.

To build up energy levels sustainably (strengthen kidney yang), I usually recommend a starting block of 5 sessions at weekly intervals. After the 2nd or 3rd session you should already notice that you are fresher in the morning and have “more drive”.
