TCM for women

Your cycle is not an enemy - it is your compass

Many women have learned to accept pain, mood swings and exhaustion as a "normal" part of being a woman. Especially in a demanding everyday life in Winterthur - or in irregular shift work as cabin crew - the hormonal rhythm quickly gets out of step.

TCM gynaecology at Fly-TCM takes a different view: a healthy cycle should be pain-free and regular. Complaints are not a whim of nature, but signals of imbalances (e.g. stagnation or a lack of blood). I help you to make peace with your body and find your hormonal center again.

The feminine power in TCM (blood & yin)

In Chinese medicine, women are closely associated with the element of blood (xue) and yin energy (substance/rest). Stress, cold or overwork deplete these reserves.

Our treatment is never aimed at artificially replacing hormones. Instead, we regulate the control center (pituitary gland/ovaries) via gentle impulses to the liver and kidney meridians. We "build the nest" so that energy can flow freely again.

Areas of application: Accompaniment in every phase of life

I accompany you from your teenage years through to the "second spring" (menopause). My specialties in Winterthur are

1. menstruation & PMS (cycle balance)

No more hot water bottles and painkillers. I treat dysmenorrhea (pain), PMS (irritability, breast tenderness) and irregular cycles (e.g. after stopping the pill or due to jet lag).

2. desire for children & fertility

If it doesn't work with getting pregnant, there is often no organic defect, but a "functional blockage" (e.g. too much cold in the abdomen or stress). I prepare the body optimally for conception.

3. pregnancy & birth preparation

For nausea in the first trimester, back pain or water retention. From the 36th week, I offer birth-preparatory acupuncture, which has been proven to shorten the opening phase of labor.

4. menopause (the second spring)

Hot flushes, sleep disorders and emotional rollercoaster rides are signs that the "yin" is decreasing. I cool the system and nourish the substance so that you can experience this phase powerfully and calmly.

Who is TCM gynecology for?

For every woman who wants to regulate gently instead of using chemicals. My approach is particularly valuable for:

  • Flight attendants: Their cycle is often disrupted by time zones and night work.
  • Women who want to have children: who want to actively do something for their fertility.
  • Mothers: needing energy for everyday life.

Security & trust

I work very carefully. Safety is the top priority, especially when you want to have children or are pregnant. There are certain "forbidden points" during pregnancy that I strictly avoid. At the same time, there are points that can work wonders against nausea. I know exactly what I'm doing.

Your appointment in Winterthur

It all starts with a trusting conversation. I also ask things that the gynecologist might not ask (e.g. "Do you have cold feet?") because this is crucial for the energetic diagnosis.

The costs (tariff 590) are generally covered by supplementary insurance for complementary medicine (EMR). Please check your policy.

Frequently asked questions

They are widespread, but not “normal” from a TCM perspective. A harmonious cycle should go almost unnoticed. Severe pain often indicates “blood stagnation” or coldness in the uterus. This can often be treated excellently with acupuncture and heat (moxa). You don’t have to suffer through it.

Yes, absolutely. It is one of the few methods that helps against nausea, heartburn or back pain completely without medication. I use special, gentle points. From the 36th week, I also offer the specific scheme for birth preparation.

In TCM, hot flushes are “rising yang” because the cooling “yin” (substance) is decreasing. I use acupuncture and nutritional tips to nourish your juices and drain the heat. Many women report a significant reduction in “sweating attacks” and sleep better again.

No. If you are taking the pill or hormone replacement therapy, I can still treat you (e.g. to alleviate side effects). If you want to stop taking the pill, I will help your body to find its own rhythm again more quickly.
